• The abstract comprises title, author(s) (underline the speaker), full address and content of the abstract.
• In 360 words or less

B. How to submit your abstract
Abstract can be sent to the Congress Secretariat by e-mail.
The secretariat will confirm the reception of your abstract or paper by email. If you do not receive confirmation from the secretariat within 10 days, please contact the secretariat.
Please specify the way of presenting (oral presentation/poster or both), section preference, and speaker's name in your submission.
Authors invited to give reports on the congress will be notified before April 30, 2008 .

Note: If Abstracts are submitted by attachments to an e-mail, please e-mail to: iccabstract@mail.hzau.edu.cn, or to icc2008@yahoo.cn, in case the former e-mail address could not get through (no auto-reply received).

C. Instructions for paper preparation
General information
All papers must be submitted in English, concisely written and limited to about 6000 words, double spaced--except for the Abstract and Literature Cited which should be single spaced--using Times New Roman font with a 12 pitch character.

Manuscript format and submission
1). Paper size: A4 (210 mm x 297 mm).
2). Write only on one side of the sheet. Number each page consecutively in the upper right-hand corner.
3). Below paragraph headings (Material and Methods, Results, etc.) leave 3 spaces.
4). Authors are kindly requested to bring to the Congress Secretariat, no later than 30 Oct. 2008, their manuscripts on a pen drive or on a CD using MS-Word 2000, XP, Millennium or 1998 accompanied by 2 hard copies of the manuscripts.

Contents of the manuscript
Manuscript should at least contain following parts: title, authors, footnotes (relative to the author’s acknowledgements, any grant sources and current address of the authors), abstract, introduction and literature review, material and methods, results and discussion, literature cited, as well as tables and figures.

D. Posters
1). Posters should be numbered and grouped according to sessions, and should have a head part containing the title, author(s) name(s), institution, addresses and the text. Headings and subtitles should have the smallest letters in 80-point font. The font in the text should not be smaller than 36-points.
2). The poster is on display for the whole duration of congress. At stated times, the presenting author is requested to be present near his/her poster for comments and discussion. For identification, it is recommended that a photograph of the presenting author be put at the upper right corner of the abstract and the abstract number put on the upper left corner.
3). The poster panel actual size is 90 cm wide and 120 cm high.
4). Printed posters should be provided and taken to the congress by the delegates. DO NOT MAIL YOUR POSTER TO SECRETARIAT.
5). Posters should be mounted from 8:30-16:00, Oct. 26. Staff in the poster session room will guide you.
